The rarer gypsum versions with no painted rim

"Vintage Automobile Plaques". The first Vintage Automobile Plaques were Pottery products but when the Bossons pottery was discontinued these plaques were made of gypsum. Pottery examples were produced from 1959 to 1962 and gypsum from 1962 to 1963. The gypsum versions are rarer and usually have a painted rim. There are some very rare gypsum examples that do not have a painted rim. All plaques are 13 x 11.5 inches.

Rarity - Fairly Rare

There were only 4no designs produced in the 8 x 6 inch Ultra High Relief plaque, 'Anne Hathaway's Cottage', 'Old Irish Cottage', Robert Burns Birthplace' and 'Shakespeare's Birthplace'.
