There were only 6no designs created for the 5 x 3 inch Plaque. 'Anne Hathaway's Cottage', 'Bridge St Chester', 'Douglas The Horse and Tram', 'Eastgate Chester', 'Old Blacksmith's Shop' and 'Shakespeare's Birthplace'.

14 inch Circular Plaque. Produced 1955  to 1958.

The original version of this plaque was called 'Interior Scene No 2'. Produced 1948 to 1954. Lady by fire and table with dog.

There are various subtle colour variations with this plaque. Black kettle, tan kettle etc.

14 inch Circular Plaque. Produced 1948  to 1954 (Version 1) and 1955 to 1958 (Version 2).

First Version (with dog) is known as 'Interior Scene No 1'. Produced 1948 to 1954. There are two colour variations with a green jacket man and a blue jacket man. The pottery on the table is painted different as is the pottery on the mantle.

Second Version with finer detail known as 'Old English Cottage'. Produced 1955 to 1958.

Old English Manor House (An)

14 inch Circular Plaque. Produced 1948 to 1954. Same scene as the earlier and rarer  'St. George's College, Salisbury, Rhodesia'.

There were only 3no designs produced in the 15.5 inch plaque : 'Old English Manor House', 'Palace House, Beaulieu' and 'Sulgrave Manor, Northants'.  

Old English Village

14 inch Circular Plaque. This is a very rare plaque and one of the first produced by Bossons cira 1947.

 

Rarity - One of the Rarest

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are only two known examples of these plaques.

 

Water colours were used for these early plaques, they also lacked some of the detail of the later plaques. There are slight colour variations on the 2no illustrated plaques

8 inch Circular Plaque. Produced 1988  to 1992.

There are different various of this plaque. Namely 'with and without figure on bridge' and 'with arch and without arched bridge'

The 2no Versions of the 8inch Bossons Old Watermill. There is a man on the bridge in the left, plus the man by the tree in red and the man in the doorway to the mill is in yellow where as the plaque on the right has none on the bridge and the man by the tree is in blue plus the man in doorway is in blue instead of yellow. (First version is on the left).
