CROWN COLLECTION

The Bossons Fraser Art 'Crown Collection' Series. PVC wildlife figurines mounted on mahogany plinths. Limited Edition Series of 9500 models for each design. Produced from 1981 to 1988 within the exception of 'Bears and Bees' which was introduced in 1986 so is therefore rarer. Blue Tit and Wren where experimental models and never formed a part of the 'Crown Collection'. These 2no models are very rare.

In 1986 the 'Crown Collection' was made with the addition of the new 'Stonite' product. 'Stonite' material powder was blended with the PVC to reinforce and stabilise. Models were fixed to the wooden plinth with glue and a central screw.
